Small rant

Visiting my in laws for the first time since my son was born. He will be 5 months on the 26th.

So the only people on my husbands side that have met my baby is his parents and his sister and her family.

So today my son is meeting one of his great grandmas for the first time.

We were all starting to eat this cake and I said he is not allowed to eat any he’s too little for that.

She was looking at me when I said this. Then proceeds to swipe her nasty germ filled finger on the icing and put it in his mouth.

It took everything within me not to yell and smack the crap out of her.

There are several reasons he shouldn’t have icing this young but one of the big ones is he has a sensitive stomach. It took us forever to find a formula he could eat without him having issues.

I’m so pissed. My son is going to bed now so at least he’s out of her hands but still.

Oh also the town/state they live in was one of those that had extreme cases of Covid that before this trip my husband and I made it clear we would only be staying at home no public visits bc of the risk.

I don’t know if she washed her hands before holding him or anything bc I was in the other room tending to my oldest.

So angry.
