Benadryl for sleep?

Question

I’ve never had such bad problems sleeping. 
I don’t have unisom, but did get prescribed Benadryl for my allergies by my doctor. 
Do any of you use it to help you sleep? 
I have the liquid gels that say take 1-2, but I only ever take 1 when I do use them.

I take benadryl every night to help me sleep. Dr said it was ok!

My insomnia is out of control lately. I'm 28 weeks today. Benadryl doesn't do much for me but Unisom seems to really help. I feel guilty taking it every day though, so I usually just take it every 3 or 4 days. Ugh.

I have to take Benadryl for allergies but I break a 25 mg tablet in half.

I e had insomnia also but also bad congestion. So I have been taking 1 or 2 benedryl unfortuneately it doesn’t help me sleep except for maybe an hour or 2 max I’m about to ask my dr next visit for ideas because I’m so exhausted but just can’t sleep

Children’s Benadryl helps me when I really can’t sleep and I feel like it works quicker than adult Benadryl- If you can get over the taste haha.

I actually had my doctor prescribe a med to me that was the part of Benydryl that makes one tired maybe ask on that??? I have insomnia bad due to my anxiety hope you figure something out as im with you but also have a kiddo thats changing her schedule currently so I'm not able to take it !!

I take b6 and half of a sleep aid before bed for nausea but I sleep so well because of it

I was taking benadryl for allergies too but started having RLS which was keeping me up even more. I talked to my OB who asked if was taking benadrylz she said it causes RLS, so  be careful taking it just to sleep, as it may make it worse

dont take meds for sleep. it sucks. i have insomnia. but cut out screens 2 hrs before bed. have sex lol. do calming things. its not a cure all. but what u take so does baby
