The only situation where it is ok to tell your partner not to masturbate (in my opinion) is if the masturbation is interfering with your sex life. Like if you were masturbating so much that you weren’t interested in sex anymore. Also, like my husband and I are trying to get pregnant so I ask him not to masturbate during my fertile week because I don’t want him to waste his sperm that week lol. I think that’s totally fair, because him masturbating that week could lower the chances of me getting pregnant. (And also he agrees with me on that lol it’s not like I’m forcing him not to do it). B ut aside from that I couldn’t care less what he does.

It’s your body do what you want, just don’t tell him when your doing it if he thinks it’s a problem, it’s natural to do it and he probably does it too. It’s super controlling for him not to allow you to do things with your own body

No one should tell anyone not to masturbte.  It's your/their body.  If it's affecting your mutual sex life, then you need some help.  But telling a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife to NOT do it is bullshit.  Especially if they're not pleasing you during sex.  Screw that noise.

My first thought was not “how controlling” it was more...”that’s hot” because I thought he wants to please you, and refraining can intensify it...buuuut if he isn’t doing it for you/with you, he can’t expect you to not...maybe point that out!
