Anyone stop breastfeeding around 8/9 months?

Just read a post about this and wondered if anyone has and what did you fo? 
I'm returning to work when she will be about 8/9 months and working the evening so I won't be here to do bath and bed so wondered what would be best for her feeding wise 
I've never expressed or tried bottles 
Thought about forumla or just expressing for that feed

I would start with solids... by 6 months you can start with solids(baby food). I would give her the breast before going to work and then solids throughout the day whoever is with her and then breast again when you return. Obviously you have to get her used to solids BEFORE you return to work. I think its called weaning. Try reading : the baby whisperer

I am due to go back to work when my baby will be around the same age, she’s 4 months now.
I have started expressing and giving her a bottle each day to get her used to it and she seems to be doing well.
She wasn’t keen on the bottle at first, I got the munchkin latch bottles and she does really well with that, it’s meant to be a close replica of the breast and seems great to me x

Personally I would start solids and express breast milk for her. You can even breastfeed only in the morning on the weekends.

Following- I’m planning to stop at that time but I’m going to formula plus the occasional solids
