What’d you do today?⁣

𝘋𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵? Because if so, I nailed it 😆 real talk tho... I didn’t do much else! Up in the middle of the night with this kid then didn’t sleep well after. Did get moving in an upper body workout, and washed some sheets... and ate food... but otherwise, I rested.⁣

What’s weird is I KNOW I need times like this. My body is working hard. But mentally it’s hard to do no things! I’m not good at it. I start on this slope of questioning my worth, whether I’m a good mom or wife, just a downward pull 😩 Yes my nutrition and workouts help boost me... but I still have funk days!⁣

Totally reminiscent of Post-partum depression, but most people don’t talk about the up and down roller coaster that CAN happen even before the baby is born. Yay hormones 🙄 I’m communicating my ups and downs with the hubs and my midwife... but it’s still real!⁣

Pregnant or not, you might have days like this. There’s nothing wrong with us! The only wrong thing would be to ignore it! Share with those you love, talk to your doctors if it’s more often than not and most importantly KNOW that you are loved and capable of working through this 🙏🏼💕⁣
