Is this normal?

My baby is 4 weeks old and I am breastfeeding. This past week all he wants to do it be held. He takes in a lot of air when breastfeeding bc he loses suction frequently therefore causing burps, spit up, gas/poops.

Recently every time my husband tries to hold him to give me a break my baby cries and cannot be consoled by my husband. He does feed him a bottle of breast milk usually once per day. My husband gets frustrated that “the baby doesn’t like him” and within seconds of handing baby back to me he settles.

It could just be coincidence?

Could my baby have colic? He’s pooping every 2 hours and frequent gas. He does get fussy a lot but usually i can get him to calm down.

My husband is so upset bc he feels like there’s nothing he can do, any suggestions? I keep telling him that unfortunately he will “favor” me until we are done breastfeeding.
