How long after your membrane sweep did labor begin?

Im 39+3 and had a membrane sweep. I know its only 50% effective. How long did it take for you to go into labor after getting one? If you got one and it didnt work please let me know

Had my son exactly 24 hours after my sweep (Labor started about 17 hours after).

For my best friend it did the job pretty much instantly! She lived five minutes from her midwifes office and by the time she got home she had enough time to grab her bags and head five minutes down the road to the hospital. He was born not even five hour later! Although she was at that point over due and was sitting at 2-3 cm dilated for a few weeks. ￼

With my son I had mines done on a Friday and my water broke that Sunday. With my oldest daughter it was the same way

3 days later when I was induced. After my second sweep. It didn’t work for me.

I had a sweep done on a Thursday , went Into active labor Sunday night and had our Son Monday morning ! I wish I remembered more details. Lol. It’s was our first son many years ago

Not me, but my close friend had her membranes swept and went into labour 2 days later. Her appointment was Tuesday and her baby was born early Friday morning.
