Is it disrespectful?

I was having a discussion with a friend and it got me thinking...
Do you ladies think it’s disrespectful to upload bikini pictures on instagram or any form of social media? 
Is it the same as gym clothes or weight loss transformations? 
Is it acceptable in a relationship? 
What would your man/woman say?
Edit:  I’m talking about posting pictures in a bikini whilst in a relationship, and (of yourself of course.)

What’s the difference between posting a photo in a bathing suit online and wearing one in public? Nothing. Literally nothing. 
It’s not disrespectful in the least. 
My husband doesn’t give a shit what I post on social media. Lol

It depends on lifestyle choices.
I don't mind if I see people I know in bikini and nor do I think anyone else should mind. But I will never do it. Because what is once online, that stays online. And I am a teacher, so these are pictures I never would share online.

I dont think ig it's for fun intent, to show off body composition progress or maybe vacation photos. 
But unless stated otherwise in the relationship, if it's to gain male attention then yes.

Who would it be disrespectful to? If your partner has an issue with you posting gym-attire or swimsuit selfies, I think there's some deeper issues going on. It's YOUR social media and it's perfectly acceptable to post photos in whatever attire you choose. I don't post many selfies, simply bc it's not something I like to do, but as long as I'm not posting provocative or flirtational photos/comments, my husband couldn't care less.

I don’t think you need to be provocative in said photos but otherwise I normally keep scrolling when I see them and am not offended by them. If someone is getting excessive and it’s someone I know constantly posting in thing bodysuits and stuff I have defriended them bc I don’t care to see that all the time. 
I don’t post them regularly (I have posted a few on my insta story, not an actual post, since I’m pregnant now). I don’t post pictures of my bare skin showing in a ‘sexy’ way....I’m a mother and I wouldn’t want my daughter posting stuff like that. I also feel weird bc I have family on my social media and I wouldn’t want my dad or other family members to see my pictures in a sexual manner. I feel like posting selfies, even if you feel great about yourself is a little odd....it’s obviously attention seeking and I don’t feel like the need to post them bc I get all the attention I want/need from my husband (most of the time LOL) 🤷🏻‍♀️  
I don’t mean it in a bad way, I am ALL about people showing progress from working out and people that work super hard to loose weight or get into shape but a girl that does her makeup and goes to the gym and takes pics of her in spanx when she just went and walked on a treadmill for 20 min is extra 😂

Is it disrespectful to post pictures of yourself? No. Is it disrespectful to upload other people's pictures? Yes, or at least when you don't have their permission.
