New doctor?

Hey so I’ve just moved cities and so I have a new OBGYN. They won’t even see me until 8 weeks and they know I’ve had 2 miscarriages previously and they both happened at 6 weeks. Then they said there isn’t much they can do until then. Like this hospital is one of the best in the state and I go to college there as well (has a great medical school, but I’m in undergrad) but it just feels like they don’t really care. Just kind of disappointed. Should I find another OBGYN to go to (like not at a hospital, a clinic)?

That’s very normal , especially because of the current circumstances 
But even tho I had had multiple miscarriages (prior pregnancy not this one), I couldn’t get an appointment to see my doctor until 8 weeks . The only reason I got in earlier was because I had started bleeding. Even so, I only got in around 7 weeks for an ultrasound to see if the pregnancy was viable. Before that, I had a single a blood draw at the Er as well to see if my levels were increasing.

I would look around somewhere else for sure. My sister had 2 miscarriages too so as soon as she got pregnant the third time they were tracking her hormone levels day 1. She ended up needing progesterone (I think) to keep him. He's a healthy 9 year old today! So yes, I would explain your situation and see if anyone would be willing to track your pregnancy sooner/closely.
