What's your A1C?

Question

Anyone have high A1C? My labs came back today, and they said mine is in the prediabetic range. I'm kind of freaking out because my labs have never shown this. They prescribed metformin. Has anyone else dealt with this that can give me some insight and maybe calm me down??

I was prediabetic, lost 120lbs & now my A1C is 3.4... my endocrinologist said its the lowest she ever seen. After losing about 40-50lbs I was no longer considered prediabetic. Don’t freak out, this is your warning sign and a chance to do something about it 😉 you got this!

Mine was also high(prediabetic). I can’t remember the actual number but I started metformin 1500mgs back in June and by August my levels were within a normal healthy range. 
Metformin was a godsend!

Mine is 6, which is prediabetic. I take metformin 1 gm at night. It hasnt come down, but hasnt gone up either.
