Is there anything I can take to avoid miscarriage???

Every month I have a faint line. April I actually had a positive. My period has been so off too. It was always like clockwork. Why am I having chemical pregnancies??

Sadly no; most miscarriages happens due to the embryo has the wrong number of chromosomes so it can’t form correctly. It’s nothing anyone does or doesn’t do, it’s just a sad part of reproduction. It’s actually very common just most people don’t notice unless they’re actually TTC at a strict level

No miscarriages happen when one part of the dividing cells gets more chromosomes than the other and the body doesn’t support it. They can’t be prevented sadly

Like everyone else said, unfortunately it's nothing you are doing that you can prevent. If it's happening a lot, it's time to go to your doctor and run some tests.

I know this is an old post but thought I’d comment anyway. I had 5 chemical pregnancies. We could conceive easily but would lose it soon after implantation. We finally saw a reproductive endocrinologist who put me and my husband on vitamins while she started doing all kinds of procedures to check my uterus. I had polyps all over my uterus. Had a hysteroscopy to remove polyps and they also found a chronic infection of my uterine lining, endometritis. Infection was treated with 1 round of antibiotics. We got pregnant on our 3rd cycle of trying after the surgery and antibiotics. Currently 8 1/2 weeks and hoping for a healthy baby at the end of all of this. I encourage you to request a referral to a specialist. We would have never found the problem with our regular OB, their testing is limited. I knew it couldn’t just be a chromosomal problem. I've just had three chemicals in a row and decided to see a reproductive endocrinologist to get a work up and make a plan. I'm so sorry you're going through this and best of luck to you!
