Boyfriend won’t hold baby

So I just had my baby girl April 28 and since we been home boyfriend held her probably 5-7 times and only for a short period of time. Today I gave her to him after he asked to hold her so I go back to the kitchen and finish dinner he comes in the kitchen saying her take her I got to go. But he’s in the bedroom watching tv it’s always like this mind you he is a first time dad so could that be apart of it. I’m confused really I have a five year old son who is always in my face and a newborn so why is he always giving her back after 2 to 3 minutes not even five minutes
