How early to start testing for ovulation?

Just needing some advice— we just started TTC a few months ago and I thought this month I would hopefully maximize my chances by using ovulation test strips. How many days after finishing your period do you ideally want to start testing? I finished mine on Tuesday, and I’m set to ovulate at least by June 5, according to the glow app.

I found a testing kit online with strips that help track when your LH levels are to surge so I want to try it this time around.

Anyone have better luck doing it this way?
