Induced at 37 weeks?

Anyone else been induced by 37 weeks by talking to your Drs???? . I can’t take it anymore. Been in and out of the hospital with contractions that come and go. I’m 1 1/2cm dilated. So much back pain. So much pressure on my vagina and butt. Super swollen that everyone makes fun on me. I can’t seem to walk or do anything without feeling like passing out.  I feel like my Dr doesn’t like me or my husband. She always laughs and makes me feel like I’m stupid. She keeps pushing me to get my tubes ties or my husband get a vasectomy. She always asks if my husbands is abusive. He’s been with me to every appt and doesn’t say much to her. Very supportive.

Most doctors won’t due anything until 39 weeks simply because that’s term.,. I’m going thru the same thing as you

I talked to my doctor about an induction today and she said she’s not allowed to until 39 weeks. I’ll be 39 weeks on a Tuesday and that’s her day on call. She said normally she would have someone come in the night before to get the cervidil started but said she wouldn’t be able to do that because I would technically be 38+6 (even though I’d just be a few hours away from 39 weeks. I’m not sure if it’s a state or national policy on that. She said she could only induce if it was medically necessary.

I voted just wait for one reason and that is babies that are induced at 37 weeks are likely to have jaundice and other health issues which they will likely end up in the ICU for a few days ( not all though). If you feel you really can’t take anymore you are the only person who knows what’s best for your body. I’m in my second pregnancy -36 weeks- I’m in agony and have so many complications but for me personally I don’t want to be induced too early. If you feel you can’t do it and your doctor isn’t taking you seriously and being unprofessional then file a complaint against them as you should never be made to feel stupid by a healthcare provider. 
Ultimately the choice is yours if you’ve researched it all and still wish to be induced at 37 weeks then make that very clear to your doctor

My ob won’t induce anyone until 39 weeks. That’s when I’m getting induced.

Mine won’t let me go until 39 weeks on the dot. 
That is unfortunate about your OB though 😩 
I would get through my 6 week check up and find someone new 🙅🏻‍♀️

i asked my dr about induction at 37 weeks because i was induced with my last 2 at 37 for hypertension and she told me that she has no medical indication for induction at 37 weeks. i’m bummed but knowing my history & seeing that my pressure is heading that way again, i know they will allow me to have her if it spikes. good luck to you !

My doctor won’t do shit until 40 weeks 3 days. Trust me I’m in the same boat but stuck being pregnant until then.
