Blighted Ovum and hcg levels

My doctor suspects an Blighted Ovum based on my ultrasound. I'm supposed to be around 7 weeks but my gestational sac was empty and measuring 5 weeks and 2 days...

My hcg levels were 3735 and 5852 the past 3 days apart... Is there any hope still or should I be expecting to miscarry? I will be pushing for a D&C once confirmed as a personal choice that works for me but I'm holding on to hope until the next ultrasound....I've had spotting for over a week now but only brown blood and no severe bleeding
