Take him to ER?

Question

My baby has diarrhea, he’s 15 months old. He also cries when you change his pamper & says “ow”... he has no fever as well so I’m not sure what’s going on. 
Before diarrhea his poops were hard-ish, sometimes he has soft poops but they’ve been hard poop balls.. could he just be constipated? Anything I can do for his soreness I’m assuming that’s on his bum?

I definitely don’t think diarrhea constitutes an ER visit, but take him to the doctor if you are concerned. Use diaper rash cream on his bum if it’s sore.

Don’t take him to the ER. It’s not worth the risk and it’s just diarrhea. Call your pediatrician if you are worried.

Definitely don’t take him to the ER. Especially now with all this Covid craziness. 
Adjust his diet and include more green veggies. I make my son shakes with spinach, blueberries, and almond milk and almond or peanut butter when he’s constipated. Also, when diarrhea leaves the body it’s very acidic. They’re butts are burning, lol. I don’t mean to laugh but really it’s so painful for them. Put aquaphor or a good diaper cream and cover the area. Apply more with each diaper change. Give him pedialyte and lots of water to make up for the fluid loss from diarrhea

No don’t take him to the ER for this. His butt hurts from the diarrhea, I’d use baby aquaphor and/or diaper rash cream to help with that. Make sure he’s getting plenty of fluids.

I would try putting aquaphor on his butt honestly I don’t think the er will do much unless he’s not eating or drink try that maybe some pedalyte my 13 month old is teething so he’s  had some diarrhea like that as well

Don’t go to the ER for that. Waste of time and money. Call your pediatrician on the phone. They’re bound to have someone on call. Then make an appointment for Monday.

Unless it has persisted for several days and dehydration is a concern do not take him to the ER. Get him some pedialyte. Use some desitin for the rash, change immediately and allow for air out time between. Stick with a bland diet and avoid acidic or spicy foods that can cause further irritation.
