You can absolutely take one , pink dye is best for before period test. However , it would be better and you'd spend less money by just waiting until you miss you period or become late.

It will most likely be negative even if you end up pregnant. Even first repsponse 6 days sooner will not tell you that soon. Its 6 days before missed period, not 6 days until period. And even at that point,  its only 60% accurate. If you wait until you are late its over 99% accurate.

You can take a pregnancy test as early as 8dpo or 6 days from period. That’s the absolute earliest, although I recommend waiting as long as possible as implantation occurs 6-12 dpo.
