Appointments During Covid: is anyone experiencing difficulties scheduling appointments?

I had to call around to several offices to get an 8 week appointment. It was supposed to be on Tuesday. But I got a call yesterday informing me that the appointment will now be over the phone only. 
So I will get no blood work, no doppler, no anything to confirm my pregnancy, determine how far along I am, or to check on the health of me or my baby until my 2nd trimester.
I am beyond frustrated at this whole process. Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Really having a hard time with kaiser as they are only booking same week appointments. I was able to have all of my blood work done and have a dating ultrasound but I thought it was so strange that the only way they confirmed my pregnancy was by finally doing an ultrasound. When I did bloodwork a week before my ultrasound they didn’t even bother to do a blood hcg pregnancy test. When I went to have my ultrasound they didn’t even do a urine one. For my first pregnancy, 2 years ago, they did both! I also was not able to being my husband with me :(

Yes I’m going through the same.  No in person visit until 12weeks.  I have my 8 week call 6/10 and I’m going to ask if there’s anyway to get an ultrasound just to confirm everything’s ok.  We will see how it goes.  Not sure where you’re located.  I’m in Massachusetts.
