My 8.5 week old has barely been sleeping during the day and oof it’s been exhausting. I can’t clean, cook, or sometimes even shower because she’s usually super fussy. Well.. today she slept!! We usually get up around 7am and today she wanted to go back to sleep after her feeding so I let her! I made myself breakfast and cleaned the house! She finally woke up around 9:30ish and ate then I strapped her to me in her carrier (which usually she only likes for a max of 10-15 minutes) and she went back to sleep until her next feed! I got ALL of the cleaning done. Around 1pm we went on a very nice 2 hour walk at the trails by our house and she ate under a nice big shady tree. She absolutely loved it. All smiles and awake most of the time! Well we get home (I still needed to shower, put up the dishes in the dish washer and do 2 more loads of laundry) and she ate again then took another nap! She’s been sleeping since and it’s just be absolutely great, I could cry I’m so happy. This has been I’d say one of the best days since she was born! 💕💕❤️
