So my baby is almost a year old and squeals all the time! She will babble and say the few words she knows but also squeal and squeal in between all that. Especially when she is excited! Personally it never really bothered me I just thought of it as a baby thing and her learning how to speak and make noises. Well I’ve had multiple friends/family comment on how I should be correcting her and teaching her to use her inside voice and not act like that. It’s not like it’s an all day thing it’s just when she’s really excited or really babbling on and talking. But I’m wondering if I’m not teaching my daughter right and wrong early on enough like some have said. I told them I felt like she was too young to grasp the concept of how being loud inside can be a bit overwhelming. They said I was becoming a pushover mom. I’m just open to opinions on what y’all think :)
