Prolactin levels high??

Question

I’m not pregnant nor have I ever been. I had my cycle day 3 labs done the other day and they said my levels were really high and they need to retest me. Why are they so high? It makes me worried, I don’t see a ton of info on it online. It was ~35 when generally it’s ideal be under 25 🥺
Anyone know what could be wrong or have a similar experience??

They probably want to do more tests to check your thyroid. High prolactin levels in women who are not pregnant are most commonly caused by anorexia, kidney issues, liver issues, or hypothyroidism. I know many women who have thyroid issues and are able to manage and have gone on to have children. Don't stress too much, your doctor will take if you 💕

Prolactin levels can increase due to stress and anxiety, happened to me.. it messes with ovulation.. I was prescribed medication for it and it resolved.
