My son wakes up crying?

Last night my son kept waking up crying hysterically then would go right back to sleep. Last night it was really hard to get him to sleep, he HATES going to sleep. He seems fine, but he’s never done this before. Could it be from teething? Or bad dreams? I’m a bit concerned. He’s almost 7 months. Has anyone else had this problem?

My son's a great sleeper but he does this on occasion. He's almost two and still does it. I've always thought it was just a bad dream🤷. Not really sure, but I rule anything else out so that's my guess.

My son has done this occasionally since around that age. He also hates sleeping and it’s always a fight. He is over two now, and did this just the other day. Like I said, he has always been a bad sleeper. Sometimes I have to slightly yell to wake him out of it. Then he wakes up and goes back to sleep. He has done it less and less the older he has been
