Why are my sugar levels low?

I got my blood work done and my sugar levels are lower than it should be, diabetes does run in my family, my dad and my papa has it. 
My doctor never calls me to inform me, I don’t know how I should handle this, I dont know if I’m developing diabetes.

From my experience of being a caretaker when my residents blood sugar was low I’d have to give her something sugary to make it rise to the correct range. Your body is lacking it, try something sugary but small and test again. In my opinion if your doctor isn’t taking it serious you need to find someone new.

Low blood sugar can be a sign of hypoglycemia which is the opposite of diabetes but just as dangerous. My sister has it but it hasn’t changed her life any she just keeps a half gallon of OJ in the fridge Incase her sugars bottom out. Your blood sugar could also be low if you hadn’t eaten for awhile. But if your doctor isn’t concern I don’t feel you should unless you notice yourself being overly fatigued for no reason or if your sugars bottom constantly, then I’d go back and get re-evaluated.
