Is the Owlet baby Monitor worth it?

First time mom & definitely am already anxious! Baby will be sleeping in a bassinet in our room until she’s big enough to sleep in her nursery.. curious if the owlet monitor is worth the investment and what you did and did not like about it

To me personally no it’s not unless my baby had medical issues or was born earlier than 35 weeks.

This is what the App is like (I blurrd for privacy), it updates every few seconds and sometimes I keep it open all night when my phone is on the charger. We have never had an issue. Making sure its snug to the foot is key

Omg. It's my favorite purchase!!! I was SUCH an anxious mama at first! I didnt sleep for 4 days (for real) because I was so scared of her just spontaneously stopping breathing. So my husband got it for me so I would sleep. She is now 5 months old and  we use it every night. I love that it also tracks her sleep so I can see her routines and how shes doing throughout the night. I say if you're really anxious, just do it. If you end up not using it, you can return it to the store. I plan on selling ours when were done with it, or gifting it to a mama in my family. (Also I reccomend the button sleepers with it so you can alternate the foot you put it on, and if you arnt using a footed sleeper, put a sock on over it, it helps hold it in place)

I don’t see why not I purchased one for the peace of mind some people aren’t such worriers but I did ivf and I ain’t taking no chances!

For peace of mind- YES! 
When my daughter was born I bought the video monitor that could see her belly moving and it helped so much when moving her to her own room. And I wish I had the owlet. I almost bought it so many times but it was so expensive. Next baby will definitely have one!!

Not worth the anxiety as sometimes it has glitches and stuff . I can’t deal with that unless your baby is a preemie or was born with breathing complications
