Has anyone else experienced major sleep struggles with your LO where it has taken MONTHS to get them sleep trained and/or night weaned with lots of crying?

I didn’t really sleep train, but I followed the advice on Taking Cara Babies. The only times that sleep has been a real struggle was during the 4 month sleep regression (like 2 months of struggle 😭), and occasionally during leaps and growth spurts

I wouldn’t know because I don’t believe in sleep training. 🙃

I struggled for  14m with my youngest til he naturally stopped waking up. 
I understood why he was waking up, even though the reasons vary. I can't justify letting my child scream for me til he passes out, while I snuggle with my partner all night.

Only when we tried sleep training too early, he wasn’t ready

We struggled with my daughters sleep until she was around 18 mo old, then she finallyyy started sleeping well and has ever since (2.5 now)
