Unemployment/ Long
Hi,
I was laid off in March due to covid 19 and applied for unemployment. Recently, they have been pressuring me to come back when the stay at home order hasn't been lifted. I told them that I had issues with daycare (even though they're a daycare facility). They have not been practicing safety and management has been speaking bad about us and saying they're going to fire us (which I found out they can't) and mixing classes up when they shouldn't, and telling workers to take their masks off so the kids wouldn't be scared of them. I didn't qualify for a family leave with them because I just started working there in December. I got more information that they could keep me on standby but it would effect my unemployment. So I ended up just letting them know I'm not returning and there has been other personal family issues as well. I am still looking for work but was wondering if I could reapply for unemployment and let them know my reasons. How can I reapply or should I wait until I can recertify my weeks? I do know that I probably will get denied or the company can fight back but my Manger was lacking communication and seems to not care about my or anyone's situation. Neither does their higher up, or their higher up
