How to treat cradle cap??

Hey mamas I just discovered my 5 month old has cradle cap, I would like to know what shampoo is good. I’m currently using Johnson’s purple one. Should I switch?? How to treat it/ what shampoo is good? Thanks loves.

We used coconut oil. Let it sit there for a few minutes and then combed out the cradle cap (away from the face) with a fine toothed comb. Only took a few applications and it was gone.

My daughters pediatrician told me to use selsun blue and baby oil. Watch your child hair with the selsun blue and then dry and then put the baby oil in his hair over night. It really did work for her!

I have a very gentle sponge and would use aveeno baby soap and gently exfoliate.

Breast milk cleared my sons up fast. I didn’t use shampoo or soap as most are too drying and can make it worse. If no milk I’d try aquarphor and comb it out

You need to use baby oil on there head and scrubb with the cradle cap brush to remove it, and aquphore or baby oil there hair during the day until the cradle cap is gone. Regular shampoo isnt going to work its not oily enough like baby oil is
