Opinions needed!!

So I’m currently getting room ready for baby. I went with the color gray for many things along with some white here and there. However this white and gray carpet isn’t lasting, and I should’ve known better! The white area is getting very dirty very quick and I know it will continue. Getting a new rug, but need help with color options! It’s either going to be a full gray rug, or a full black rug. I think the full gray might be too much gray, and the black just doesn’t go with what I had going color wise! Opinions greatly appreciated. :)
