Can she do this??

Question

I’m working Tuesday-Sunday this week and my manager says I’m working Monday-Friday next week. That would be 11 days in a row. Should I ask for the weekend off if she’s planning to schedule me that? I can’t work 11 days in a row with 9 of those day’s being 5am-1pm where I have to wake up at 3:30

I’d let her know it’s not possible for you to work 11 days straight and if she needs you for next week, you’ll need Monday off.
It’s likely an oversight, if I was rushing to do a schedule or preoccupied I would do this accidentally sometimes too. It can be hard to see mistakes when you’re scheduling for a lot of people.

I think it depends where you live, different states have different laws about that. But since they are technically different weeks yes she can do that.

Talk to her about your schedule. Your supposed to have at least 2 of those days off. Unless you willing picked up shifts yourself.
