Are baby night terrors a thing ?

My 4 month old has been crying in his sleep and whimpering and it is the saddest thing 🥺 he took a nap today and literally cried in my arms while he was still asleep and now I can hear him whimpering on the baby monitor 🥺

Yep, mine has had them since around that time too, still has them at 18 months old but doesn’t seem as often now.

Yes. Two of my three children had night terrors. We would have to drive them around anytime they happened just to get them back to sleep. Our pediatrician told us they’re usually passed down from one parent (husband) and they should grow out of them by age 10.

Not sure. Could he maybe have reflux or colic when he’s laying down?
