Birth Control after birth of your LO

Mommies after you gave birth, which birth control worked for you? I was on the pill prior to conceiving my LO and absoultely hated the idea of taking a pill every single day. It also messed me up really bad when I stopped it but it helped a lot with regulating the frequency and instensity of my period and ease the unbearable pain every single month.

My husband and I talked about this but considering what I want in terms of birth control, it looks like nothing would work except abstinence and we know that is just plain boring 😄😄😂

I hate the feeling of condoms. I hate the idea of having to take anything hormonal that messes me up. I hate the idea of taking a pill every single day. I would hate for my period to be heavier and more irregular than it already is--- but I would not want to be pregnant right now since my LO is only 7 weeks old. 😌😌

Any recommendations? I'm like literally clueless as to what I'm going to do. My next appt with my OB is next Wednesday and would love to have a decision by then 😂😂
