My little one got her first at 12 weeks. She's now 9 months and has 8 teeth total, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. Everyone is surprised she has so many so young since most dont see a tooth till around 6 months

Babies can start teething at 12 weeks. Some babies are even born with a tooth. My husbands grandmother was. It’s not common but it happens. Is your baby showing any signs of teething other than that spot? Does it feel like it’s a tooth?

It’s very very rare but some babies can be born with teeth or get them early. I would talk to her doctor about it

It definitely looks like a tooth, and it’s not unheard of for a baby to have a tooth that early. 
Personally, I was born with 2 teeth. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was born with teeth coming in so I showed this to my mom and she said that’s not how my teeth looked but of course every baby is different!

My daughter got her first tooth at 12 weeks...had her full set by her 1st bday! I would say it’s definitely possible!
