Progesterone anyone?
On December 2,2019, I had an HSG at the recommendation of my RE. It showed I had a uterine polyp and it was stated that, that could be the reason I had a blighted ovum in October of 2019. I was scheduled to have it removed.
December 11,2019, my polyp was removed and essentially I was "sent on my way".
Went back in January for a typical CD21 bloodwork to see if I had ovulated as anticipated. My progesterone levels were 8.57. The RE said that anything above 3 indicates ovulation had occurred, but they like to see the number at 10 or above.
Levels in that range make it more possible that the egg is going to implant because that would mean my lining was thick enough to support a pregnancy.
In February I had a positive HPT. Needless to say, we were excited... Only to have that happiness taken away once again.
We were dealt the hard blow of a miscarriage in late March.
This cycle my RE placed me on Progesterone this cycle because my levels were low last cycle. I was instructed to start taking it 3 days after a peak ovulation test. If I didn't get a peak I was to start it on CD 17.
Apparently, my body hates me... As I didn't get a peak, so I had to start it in CD17. I'm currently on CD24, so it's been an entire week of Progesterone.
I'm just looking for some positive experiences, stories etc. from anyone else that has had to go through this 😩
