Hi moms! I need help! Trying to teach baby to use a sippy cup (So we can drink without spills) He drinks from a bottle and we started teaching him to drink straight from a cup which I thought was great except he always spills.

Now I’m trying out straw cups Bc they’re suppose to be good for developing muscles used for speech but he’s not closing his mouth over the straw and can’t seem to figure out sucking. We also have a 360 cup which I thought might be better since he knows how to tilt a cup but again he doesn’t get the sucking. I’ve already tried dipping the straw in water and holding it with a finger then releasing. He knows theres water in there but just can’t figure it out.

Any tips?
