Live in boyfriend

I have been dating my boyfriend for the passed 5 years and have been divorced about 7 years. Just a couple of days my boyfriend moved in. I have an 18 year daughter leaving for college in the fall and a 9 year old son in 4th grade. My boyfriend has always gotten Along with both of my children he has always tried to doing family things together. He recently moved and in the last 5 years only stayed over 1 time. My daughter is having hard time with the situation I have tried several times to speak to her and try to resolve the issue straight on. But she refuses to speak about the topic. She is nice and does not ignore him but once we are ready for bed her mood changes. And becomes distant and rude. And tells me you should know why I am upset and I know that when I leave for college he will not be leaving either. He works all day leave at around 10 am same as I do and comes home around midnight and he is very generous and maintains the house he also helps me with any needs to children need cause there father doesn't. Please advise on how to proceed with daughter feedback is greatly appreciated
