My son is 6 weeks old, and he only wants me. If I leave the room he starts crying. My husband tries to calm him down, but just can’t seem to do it. My husband will try to watch him for an hour so I can get a short nap, and he will cry and fuss the entire time.. the second I get up and go to my son, he stops crying immediately.

My husband is starting to feel like our son hates him, which he and I both know is not a rational thought. I know that once our son is older and not exclusively breast feeding he will be less attached to me. I also understand why my husband is upset, I can’t imagine how it feels to have your son cry every time you have him only to completely calm down the second his mom comes around.

Is anyone else experiencing something like this? Any advice on what we can do, or what I can say to help my husband feel better?
