Hey all! My son had a mosquito in his room night before last and woke up with a bite on his cheek. It wasn’t horrible yesterday; just red and a regular bump. It barely seemed to bother him at all, but he was scratching at his other (regular sized) bites on his arms so I gave him some Benadryl for nap and bed last night. He woke up this morning with his eye almost shut and it’s still so swollen 😞 I read something about “skeeter syndrome,” but not sure if he’s truly allergic or if it’s just a one-time reaction because it’s near his eye? He’s not at all bothered by it honestly...I’m just worried it’ll develop into an actual allergy! Anyone else’s toddlers react this way to mosquitoes??
