Yes and no. With my vaginal births, I physically felt better, but more exhausted from sleep deprivation. With my c sections, no, I felt much better pregnant than post c section in every aspect.

Its different for everyone, I was only really in pain the last 2 months of my pregnancy and that was only when I was in bed at night.
But after I gave birth I was very sore down below as I had a cut and tear (because forceps were needed) I also just generally ached all over from such a long Labour I was extremely sleep deprived and my boob's would become engorged over night and hurt and wake me up.
But it was all worth it every time I looked at my beautiful daughter.
