Drinking before FET?

Hi everyone I’m just wondering what the rules are against drinking before your FET? My FET is planned for August, but I stopped drinking about a month ago. Our 5 year anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks, and my birthday is in July so is it okay to drink wine for those occasions? I haven’t really talked to my dr about the guidelines, so I’m hoping for some insight here. Thanks in advance!

I had a glass of wine a day before my transfer, currently 16 weeks. It’s fine to drink in moderation👌

It is fine to drink before the FET. Enjoy yourself before you have to give it up for a while!

I drank all the way up until the day before transfer;) 🍸 Like others have said it was my last drink for quite awhile!! My first FET in Oct 2018 was successful and I also breastfed until she was 9ish months, my baby girl will be 1 in just 2 weeks!! It goes so so fast❤️ It was so weird finally having a drink again, Lol. Totally enjoy it and good luck!!🍀 🍷

I drank the weekend before my FET. The FET was on a Friday, so almost a week after. I’m now 21 weeks pregnant.

I haven’t had a transfer yet! But it’s scheduled for a week after our wedding anniversary. I can assure you my husband and I will be enjoying ourselves with some wine to celebrate! This journey is hard enough, I think it’s totally fair to enjoy yourself a little until your transfer :)

We had our transfer in Feb but in December it was my sisters wedding (I drank excessively for about a week between celebrations, parties and family get togethers!) I then went to Dubai for a week in January with my partner, we enjoyed a couple of bottles of wine during our stay and then I stopped drinking from Mid January to our transfer end of Feb (now 17 weeks pregnant!) I think it’s important to also live & enjoy your life, you need to have other things to look forward to and be able to treat yourself. At the end of the day - a happy body environment that is stress free is what the baby wants ❤️
