When to give up coffee

Hi me an my partner have been trying for 2 Months. I love coffee but wondering when to give it up?

You don’t have to. Alot of women drink it throughout their pregnancy without concern but if you drink it in excess then you could try to cut back so you remain hydrated. Coffee can be dehydrating and a diuretic.

I get the reasoning and I feel the same with coffee and alcohol, but at 6 months ttc I’m going to just wait until I’m pregnant, else who knows how long I’ll be deprived

Never gave up coffee when TTC...had no issues. Tried to while pregnant and totally failed lol just kept it to one regular mug a day. Now I’m EBF and try to keep it low but occasionally indulge in more.

You can have it throughout pregnancy. The max is 200mg of caffeine per day. But if you want to cut it out, I would suggest doing it before you conceive because caffeine headaches and morning sickness together were a killer!
