COVID- family???

How is everyone handling family and friends meeting and holding baby during this pandemic?? Especially those who work outside of home

I think it depends entirely on your personal situation and where you live. Where we live hasn’t been bad. My husband has worked lit of the house this whole time as has his dad. Our moms stayed mostly home. We’ve all just tried to be smart and family was able to meet and hold baby right away

My husband runs a store with about 5 employees and they easily social distance. When customers come in they have to have masks on and there is plexy glass at the counter a long with proper hand washing. It seems to be working but thats about all he can do. I work from home and I’m going back to work in a few weeks and having a REALLY hard time facing the fact that Its impossible to WFH with a 4 year old and newborn. I have been going back and forth in my mind about sending them to daycare or bringing someone in my home. I have decided to bring someone in 😓 I have being super strict about it (temp check, hand washing, change of clothes etc.) In terms of close friends and family they have come by but only has seen him from a distance. At the end of the day outside of quarantining and no contact with a single soul (which I have debated lol) there is but so much you can do. I think everything will be ok though so try not to stress it to much ❤️

We met with family in the backyard. Everyone had to stay 6 feet away. No one has touched her yet.

my boyfriend, baby’s father, works out of the house again but he’s in construction so it’s easier for him to not be right with people. My parents and my brothers are the only ones who have met and held him. None of them are any more exposed then I am since they aren’t working right now . No one else has met him because we can’t control where and who they’ve been with.
