Unmedicated birth and tearing
I am almost 19 weeks pregnant and am hoping to have an unmedicated birth. FTM and I am just terrified of tearing and what it will mean if I do tear and don’t have any sort of pain meds on board. Literally is the only reason I want to consider getting an epidural just in case I tear and they have to sew me up, but I really don’t want to get one if at all possible. What are y’alls experiences and how can I get over the fear?
