Is this ok???

Question

No dirty diaper (pee or poo) in 8 hours, some discharge on vagina. Fed 4 times throughout the night and is now asleep. Is this normal for her not to pee or poop all night? We just tried gripe water last night could this cause it? She’s 3 days old

If she hasn’t had a dirty diaper in that long you need to call her pediatrician.

The discharge and the not having pooped is normal (especially if she’s breastfed) but she should be peeing more than that. Don’t freak out over it just keep feeding her.

The discharge from the vagina is normal. It's all of your hormones that went into her body,  some babies even get almost  a period.
as far as peeing goes they should have one wet diaper on day one two wet diapers on day two three wet diapers on day three etc. And this is in a 24-hour period. 
 after day six or so they should have six to eight wet diapers.

I would call your paediatrician (as others have said). Also, double check if its okay to be using gripe water so early... I think the recommendation is to wait until 4 weeks old to use that.

The no pee is definitely a concern, no poop not so much but it’s too early for gripe water. Is she feeding ok?

I can’t say for sure but from my own experience my daughter never went that long without messing a diaper.  I would call the doc

Means shes dehydrated, not normal call pediatrician

Are you breastfeeding? Maybe she’s not getting much? Would be why she is crying and not actually being gassy hence your use of gripe water.
