2% milk?

My girl is almost 1. Can I start giving her 2% milk now even if its just an ounce?

I don't think there is a specific timer that is set for exactly 1 year old 🤷🏼‍♀️.
I'm starting at 1 just because I'm not I a rush and I have plenty of breastmilk 😎

We’re going to start at 11.5 months transitioning to soy milk - baby’s got a milk allergy. Doctor said to wait until 12 months but we’re just going to start 2 weeks early. Slow progression

My sons pediatrician told us not to give him any type of cows milk until his first birthday because his stomach can’t digest it until he is 12 months old.

I wouldn’t make the switch completely just yet but dont think it would hurt to introduce it. 
We just gave our LO her first taste of lactose free milk last night and she loved it. She’s only had water, breastmilk or an occasional bottle of formula so im sure trying something else was a nice change. 
We used a weighted straw cup for the milk. I wouldn’t use a regular bottle to introduce a new liquid because it might make taking the bottle away harder. They are supposed to be off the bottle at a year old anyway

Our pediatrician told us to start mixing 2 oz of whole milk with her formula at 11 months until we run out of formula then we can just do the whole milk.
