So back in 2016, one of my friends and I made a promise to each other that in August 2020, him and I would have sex. Now that August is approaching, it just popped into my head. I’m currently in a relationship and still expect to be in this relationship for a very long time so I won’t do it because that’s cheating.
Has anybody made a promise like this with someone and actually went through with it?

Sweetie you were young and stupid, I’ve made promises with friends or if we’re not married by 40 we would get married, I’m 41 obviously I didn’t marry him, he was a jack ass. And he ended up being gay so obviously that didn’t happen. Haven’t spoke to him in over 10 years. You are in a relationship why on earth would you risk messing things up with this person. Unless you were single between now and then, I would not bother. He probably forgot about himself. I wouldn’t bring it up.

I wouldn't sleep with someone in a relationship... move on, or wait it out.. up to you. But definitely don't message him about it.

When I was 15 I had a friend that was 18 going into to army. We promised each other wed always be there and when I'm of age we will be together. He was with someone else so I just moved on.
