Should I cut him off?

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for about a week. We were talking for a while. Last night I had a gas leak and had to call my local fire department and had to evacuate my apartment. Anyway I put it my social media account but I didn’t message him because he was asleep. He’s never met my children. Is this a bit excessive?

Yes, you should cut him off. You called him a stalker because he offered to let you go stay at his place while your apartment had a gas leak?  Break up with him and let him find someone who appreciates him caring about them.

A little excessive on your part yes. He’s being genuinely concerned and you think it’s too much? 
Are you worried he’s too concerned after a week? Whereas if he hadn’t texted you at all you’d probably be pissed he wasn’t concerned enough.

Being a good, caring and kind person doesn’t make you a stalker, weird, too much, etc.
