Anyone feel like their baby has had a loss of appetite??? We’re drinking 5oz and she’ll cry for milk drink about 3oz and then doesn’t want any more. Not sure if it’s part of the leap or not butttt I feel bad like she’s not getting her full feedings

Ya my little guy has been inconsistent with his eating lately. He was consistent at 5-6 oz every 4 hours (except at night would only have 3-4 oz), now he’s really inconsistent for the past week and is anywhere between 3-6 oz every 3-5 hours. 🤷‍♀️

Another thing I’ll suggest is if you are bottle feeding use a variflow teat and they can drink however fast they want. My little one is on slow flow atm and was on variflow so to allow her to feed better im switching back to variflow teats.

My little one will eat varied amount of oz per feed and we feed her regularly (3hrs between feeds) but i like her to have anywhere between 22-30oz in a 24hr period. She’s gaining well and that’s the main thing

Mine was drinking 5oz, 8 times a day for almost a month. Then he slowly dwindled down to 6 feedings of 5oz each. I felt the same way, but my son is still gaining and is a happy boy after eating so I think he is ok. If your worried, you can always ask your doctor though.

I feel like my baby is drinking so much. He is at 6 oz and we feed on demand. He is eating  every 2 hours and sucks it down. He is starting to get teeth so I'm waiting for him to slow down soon for a bit  Could your baby be teething? My oldest sons appetite went down when he was getting teeth then he went back to normal after they came in.

Anyone else ?
