Can I take uti pill at the same time with a bv pill?

I was diagnosed, embarrassingly, with a uti and bacterial vaginois. I have to take metronidazole and bactrim to get rid of it. Can I take them both at the same time???

There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, both UTIs and BV (as well as yeast infections) are so incredibly common, it’s nearly impossible to find a woman who hasn’t had at least one of these, if not all three! As far as whether or not you can take these treatments together, contact your doctor or at least your pharmacy. They’ll be able to let you know if you should treat the UTI first or if you can treat both at the same time.

Yes, it’s very normal. It could definitely be because of the medicine. If you’re overly concerned, call your doctor.

Need help!! Just started my period and now discharge is coming out while I'm on... Is it normal? Is it because of the medicine?

Just don’t drink alcohol on metronidazole and you’ll be fine. They have no interactions with each other.
