Does your toddler ever sideways glance / look out of the corner of their eyes?

Like instead of looking at something or someone with their face and eyes looking directly ahead, do they have their head slightly turned and look out of the corner of their eyes at the person/object?

Optometrists here: thst could be a sign of a bigger problem: like double vision, typically because of a lazy eye (tropics), or a hidden lazy eye(phoria), or Nevre problems. Or your kid have just discovered that he/she can move the eyes and it's fun to look at that angle. If it happens somewhat regular I would recommend seeing an eye doc, sooner rather than later.

My daughter did this a few times over the span of a couple months, but not too often. I just summed it up to she learned she could see out the corner of her eye. However, I had a teacher in high school whose daughter (elementary school age) did this frequently and I believe she did have an issue. I would get it checked if your child does it often!

Not really! That sounds like it could potentially be a vision issue. I’d definitely get their eyes checked to be sure!
