Yes. I don’t feel compelled to sleep with anyone who has a penis and is friendly with me. As long as both people respect boundaries it shouldn’t ever be an issue.

I'm a lesbian, but my best friend is a straight man. Most of my close friends are straight men. In my experience the people who make good friends male or female are the ones who understand boundaries and that relationships are more than a way to fuck.

Absolutely, my best friend of over 30 years as a guy. We are like family. I am his kids fairy godmother. When his mother passed I took over. I do have pretty much almost all male friends, some are attracted to me and wanna be with me, but know it will never happen. And they respect me. Some are ex’s, some wish I would give them the time of day. But they know they are friend zoned, I call them buddy and pal and dude, to make sure that they understand where they stand with me, I don’t leave them on,. It’s a different story if this friend is the one that got away, or an ex that you still have feelings for, or somebody that you find attractive, or someone who doesn’t respect boundaries and tries to break up your relationship, or try and steal your partner etc.

Yes. My two best friends are guys! I actually met them through my husband. They're awesome and super supportive. We talk a lot and help one another out. We're like family.

Yes. I've had some of the same male friends since middle school. We've talked open and honestly about this topic before and we are all in agreement that we are like siblings... it would be weird if we weren't just friends.
